Donate to help bushfire affected communities recover

  • Queenslanders encouraged to donate to help people affected by the Queensland bushfires
  • The Queensland Government has kick started the donations through a financial contribution of $1.1 million to NGO partners

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has encouraged Queenslanders to donate to help people affected by the Queensland bushfires.

Support is being provided via a number of NGOs to help recover, through immediate relief and essentials.

The State is also working to provide suitable emergency accommodation for those with impacted homes.

Queenslanders are encouraged to share the QR code with family and friends.

“Thank you to our fire crews, police, emergency crews, volunteers and support organisations for their hard work.

“It’s not over yet but we can begin the work to recover those communities impacted by the bushfires.

“As I announced yesterday, our government is kick-starting support through a $1.1 million contribution to our NGO recovery partners’ bushfire appeals.

“Some people have lost it all so it’s time to step up and help our fellow Queenslanders in need.

“Queenslanders are known for our resilience, kindness, and strength so we will get through this, together.
