  • Peer-nominated global rating is a testament to the world-class care delivered by Queensland Children’s Hospital clinicians.

Queensland Children’s Hospital has been recognised as one of the best in the world.

An international survey of health professionals listed the Queensland Children’s Hospital in the Top 10 Paediatric Hospitals worldwide.

QCH was ranked 10 out of 250 paediatric hospitals in Newsweek’s Best Specialized Hospitals 2024 list, moving up from 15th spot in 2022.

The top ten ranking sees QCH continue to be the highest ranked children’s hospital in Australia and the Southern Hemisphere.

The World’s Best Specialized Hospital project is based on a global industry survey, with more than 40,000 medical doctors, healthcare professionals, hospital managers and directors invited to participate. The surveyed experts from more than 20 countries cannot recommend their own employer or hospital.

QCH cares for more than 1,000 children and young people every single day.

This well-deserved recognition follows QCH’s 2021 accolade of becoming the first paediatric healthcare provider in the Southern Hemisphere to be awarded Gold Certification in person-centred care by Plantree International.
