Top exporter finalists named in Queensland Export Awards

 

  • 43 companies will compete in the Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards.
  • Winners represent Queensland at the national titles in Canberra in November.
  • Queensland led all other states and territories with 208 applications from 86 business.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and Treasurer and Minister for Trade and Investment Cameron Dick have announced the finalists for the Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards 2023.

Now in their 33rd year, the Export Awards recognise Queensland businesses for their innovation, resilience, and determination, especially as they strive to grow and expand their global footprints.

The finalists were announced at a Queensland business Frosty Boy, based in Yatala.

Frosty Boy has been synonymous with quality, innovation, and uncompromising taste since 1976 and exemplifies outstanding international success.

Frosty Boy ships product to 65 countries and regions including high growth markets like Philippines, Malaysia, Middle East, India, Korea, USA and Vietnam.

  • Queensland’s export industry was estimated in 2022-23 to be valued at $140 billion and supports one in five jobs in the state.
  • Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ) is the state government’s dedicated global business agency with 18 international offices in 14 key markets plus a regional network of eight offices and Brisbane headquarters.
