State budget serving cost of living relief for families in need

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has today announced an almost $2.7 million funding injection into the successful school breakfast program, delivered around Queensland.

The initiative supports Queensland school children having access to a healthy and nutritious breakfast – leading to better concentration and learning outcomes.

The initiative will be delivered through partnership with non-government organisations, schools and local volunteer groups.

Funding will be provided over two years and is expected to support distribution of more meals for Queensland children each week.
