Beenleigh Steel Fabrications has completed construction of its new $12 million facility.
Thanks to the support of the Palaszczuk Government’s $175 million Jobs and Regional Growth Fund, the company fast-tracked its much-needed expansion.
The company’s steel has been a foundation for Queensland landmarks for the past 40 years.
It has contributed to buildings such as Suncorp Stadium and the Gabba.
Beenleigh Steel had outgrown its Creastmead facility after securing contracts for the Cross River Rail, Queen’s Wharf Terminal and Kangaroo Point Green Bridge.
The new modern, fit-for-purpose facility at Berrinba in Logan has doubled Beenleigh Steel’s floor space and production capacity.
