The Palaszczuk Government is today opening submissions for a new grants program supporting veterans’ health and wellbeing.

The $500,000 Veterans’ Health and Wellbeing Research Grants Program offers grants of between $25,000 and $150,000 for research projects in the field.

The program is now open for applications, which will close on 19 June.

Anzac Day Trust Fund Grant Program

The Anzac Day Trust Fund Grant Program provides funding to ex-service organisations, institutions and associations that support veterans and their dependants.

Commencing this year, the program is being administrated by the Queensland Veterans’ Council.

In 2022, more than 180 Queensland organisations shared more than $1.5 million through the Anzac Day Trust.

Separately, the Anzac Day Trust Fund COVID-19 Grants Program, provided $1 million over three years for organisations to hold COVID-safe events. This program commenced in 2021 and will conclude this year.

The Queensland Veterans Council is calling for submissions, with the applications open until June 11.
