"Lock, stock and barrel" Premier embraces Coaldrake Review

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has welcomed Professor Peter Coaldrake's comprehensive review into the culture and accountability of Queensland's Public Sector.

“I don't just welcome it - I embrace it," the Premier said.

“I would not have asked Professor Coaldrake to conduct this review if I did not want reform.

“We will accept all of his recommendations and we will implement them lock, stock and barrel."

The Premier said the report will go to Cabinet on Monday and the work will begin on implementing the sweeping reforms.

“They are bold, they are comprehensive and they are visionary and they are exactly what I want," the Premier said.

“Once they're implemented, Queensland will have the most transparent and accountable government in Australia."
