Statement from Minister Fentiman regarding Register of Member’s Interest

I was initially of the view that I did not have an obligation to disclose the accommodation under standing orders as I considered it to be outside the definition of sponsored accommodation.

I decided out of an abundance of caution and transparency to list the accommodation as sponsored and err on the side of disclosure.

I have been advised by my Director-General that the Department of Employment Small Business and Training has not entered into any new contracts with PwC since mid-2018. All invoices paid to PwC throughout 2018-19 and 2019-20 to-date relate to contracts awarded in the 2017-18 financial year or earlier.
