Minister for Communities and Minister for Disability Services and Seniors
The Honourable Coralee O'Rourke
Is the Community Recovery team trying to call you?
The Queensland Government’s Community Recovery team has been trying to contact a number of people who have applied for grants and need to be visited in their homes or who need to provide additional information to finalise their applications.
Communities Minister Coralee O’Rourke said Community Recovery staff are conducting outreach visits to finalise applications so that assistance can be provided to affected locals as soon as possible.
“Unfortunately, some people are not taking phone calls on the numbers they have provided, or are not responding to phone messages,” Mrs O’Rourke said
“If you have been rejecting phone calls from unknown numbers, it could be our Community Recovery team trying to call.
“If we cannot contact you, we are not able to progress your application further.”
If your phone number or address has changed since you made your application, please contact Community Recovery on (07) 3035 7302 to advise of your current contact details.
