The Honourable David Crisafulli
Sunshine Coast mother and daughter Noelene and Yvana Bischoff have been brought home from Bali.
Acting Attorney-General and Minister for Justice David Crisafulli said their bodies were delivered to the state mortuary at Forensic & Scientific Services early this morning.
“Investigations into the cause of their deaths, including autopsies and associated specialist analysis, will begin immediately at the request of the Queensland State Coroner,” Mr Crisafulli said.
“While everyone wants answers swiftly, it is impossible to say how long these examinations may take until the pathologist has conducted his examinations.
“I would like to again express my deepest sympathies on behalf of the Government to Noelene and Yvana’s family and friends who we will continue to support in any way possible.”
