Statement from Queensland Treasurer Andrew Fraser regarding Queensland's credit rating:
"In handing down the Economic and Fiscal Update I said we would put all policy levers at our disposal to full forward in order to sustain growth in the Queensland economy."
"We took the conscious decision to put the need to preserve the capital program and the 119,000 jobs it supports at the forefront of our decision-making.
"The update states future state budgets will need to address the state's medium and long-term budget outlook."
