Communities Minister Lindy Nelson-Carr has announced the Ingham Recovery Centre will be moving next week, opening at the centrally-located Knightclub Function Centre (38 Herbert St) from Wednesday, February 18.
The centre will continue to open 9am-5pm at its current location at the Royal Hotel until Wednesday.
"Department of Communities staff will continue to be on hand in Ingham to help process applications for assistance, and work with representatives from Lifeline, Red Cross, Centrelink and the Department of Housing to offer support to local residents," said the Minister.
"The Community Recovery Centre is a place where residents who suffered damage or distress during the floods can obtain information and emergency financial assistance, as well as counselling and emotional support," she said.
"People unable to visit the Community Recovery Centre can call the Department of Communities' Disaster Recovery Hotline on 1800 173 349."
The Ingham Recovery Centre will operate from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday, until further notice.
