MEDIA ALERT - Minister Boyle to release new economic development plan and economic health snapshot for Mackay Whitsundays

Minister for Tourism, Regional Development and Industry Desley Boyle will release a new economic development plan and economic health snapshot for the Mackay Whitsundays region TODAY, Friday 9 January at 12:15pm.

The plan is part of the Bligh Government’s commitment to increasing employment and economic opportunities for the Mackay and the Whitsundays community.

A Vital Signs document will also be released highlighting the current health of the local economy.
