MEDIA ALERT - Visitor Information Centre official opening
Main Roads Minister Warren Pitt will officially open the Ipswich Motorway Upgrade: Wacol to Darra project Visitor Information Centre tomorrow (20 November).
The centre offers residents and visitors up-to-date information about the project, 3D displays and images of the project's evolution, as well as the opportunity to speak with project staff.
A virtual drive-through gives visitors the opportunity to experience how it will feel to drive on the completed upgrade, and intricate 3D scale models offer an insight into how the upgrade will look.
The centre is open to the public Monday to Friday, 9am – 4pm, excluding public holidays.
