MEDIA ALERT: Mickel inspects new cycleway and launches go card campaign

EVENT

Minister Mickel inspects the progress of new cycleway alongside Princess Alexandra Hospital and launchs the new go card education campaign.

The new cycleway is under construction and will link the University of Queensland and Eleanor Schonell Bridge with Princess Alexandra Hospital and the South East Cycleway

Usage of the go card has reached record numbers, but we want all passengers to enjoy the benefits of the go card.

VENUE

Corner Ipswich Road and O’Keefe Street, Buranda

Access the site via new intersection and road: Diamantina Road East - PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO ACCESS TO THE SITE ON THE CORNER OF O'KEEFE STREET

Once you are on the site please park under the beams

Visitors accessing the work site will need to wear long-sleeved shirts, long pants and closed-in sensible shoes. Other safety clothing will be provided.
