MEDIA ALERT - Minister releases new strategy to put Qld's tropical expertise in international spotlight
Minister for Regional Development and Industry Desley Boyle will today at 12.30pm release a new strategy aimed at building on Queensland’s existing tropical expertise, commercialise that knowledge into products and services, and export it to the rest of the world.
As one of the only developed economies in the tropics, the Q-Tropics – Queensland Tropical Expertise Strategy 2008-2012 will help ensure Queensland becomes a world hub for tropical economic, social and environmental expertise.
