Workshops helps firms take business from good to great
Caboolture companies can get some tips for happy customers, smart marketing and successful tendering in a range of workshops held in October.
Minister for Regional Development and Industry Desley Boyle said Tendering for Government Business was a worthwhile workshop for business people.
“Marketing is a key function in any business. If used effectively it can considerably increase sales, gain market share from competitors and make the firm better recognised in the commercial world,” Ms Boyle said.
“This one is designed for suppliers and potential suppliers to government who need to complete formal offer or tender documents.
“Participants will work through the sections in these documents and learn about the tendering process for all three levels of government.”
Tendering for Government Business is $44 and held on 22 October from 9:00-12:00pm at The Pathways Centre, 1 The Corso, Northlakes.
Director for the Department of Tourism, Regional Development and Industry’s Caboolture Regional Office David Sparks said the third October workshop Managing Customer Service was designed to assist businesses better handle customer service, profits and cash.
“The workshop helps business operators who have difficulty knowing how happy their customers are with the service they receive,” Mr Sparks said.
“They’ll work through the basic customer service principles, and will be provided with the necessary knowledge and skills to improve their business services to meet customers needs.
“Outstanding customer service is a key component in business success. The word-of-mouth generated from it is very effective in bringing more customers through the door, and more regularly.”
Managing Customer Service is $44 and held on 28 October from 2:00-5:00pm at The Pathways Centre, 1 The Corso, Northlakes.
