Roma Street Parkland will come alive this Sunday with live entertainment, cooking demonstrations, art, music and dance.
Multicultural Affairs Minister Lindy Nelson-Carr will officially open the 2008 Multicultural Festival which features headline performances by Brisbane’s own Katie Noonan and renowned Blues-Indian fusion artist Harry Manx from Canada.
Parliamentary Secretary Michael Choi and Member for Brisbane Central Grace Grace will also attend to welcome more than 100 migrants officially becoming Australian citizens at the festival.
Roma Street Parkland activities will run from 10am to 8pm and entry is free.
