The Honourable Desley Boyle

If you do not have a plan for your business, or want to know how to measure your business’ success than the Cairns Regional Centre can assist you.

Tourism, Regional Development and Industry Minister Desley Boyle said a Planning for Success workshop on Wednesday 1 October would be a valuable information source.

Planning for Success is designed for new owners or operators who need to develop a business plan, or want to know more about the process of business planning,” Ms Boyle said.

“Mapping out future business goals and activities, and measuring a business’ performance is an important part of running a company. Plans really are a fundamental tool that all successful enterprises have from the get-go.”

Director for the Department’s Cairns Regional Centre Darren Cleland said the workshop would provide business owners and operators with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop their own plan.

“People who come along will work through a model with the steps and processes involved in planning, identify what actions to take and determine what to include in their document,” Mr Cleland said.

Planning for Success costs $44 and will be held on 1 October from 5:30-8:30pm on the Ground Floor, Cairns Port Authority Building (corner Grafton and Hartley Streets), Cairns.
