MEDIA ALERT: GRANT TO ASSIST WITH DON RIVER DAMAGE

Natural Resources and Water Minister Craig Wallace and Whitsunday MP Jan Jarratt will tomorrow announce a Bligh Government grant of more than $1.4 million for much needed restoration work for the Don River.

The river experienced severe flooding earlier this year causing significant damage to banks and moving tonnes of sand into the lower Don River.
