Media Statement: Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, Kerry Shine

The District Court has made a decision to release Dennis Ferguson on bail.

Mr Ferguson will be subject to conditions including reporting to police Monday to Friday and consenting to visits from police twice a week.

I expect Mr Ferguson to abide by the decision of the court.

As this matter is before the court it would be inappropriate to make further comment.
