Police Minister Judy Spence and Police Commissioner Bob Atkinson will tomorrow launch type 2 hoon laws.

After a successful trial, the laws are about to go state wide.

Repeat offenders face losing their vehicles. (There will be a hand out of hooning vision).

When: 11.45 am, June 28, 2008

Where: Near the portico area, in front of Parliament House

In addition, Palm Beach Currumbin State High School will today receive two vehicles, forfeited under the hoon laws, for the school’s automotive program.

Police are donating the two vehicles to the school. The Minister and Commissioner will not be attending the Gold Coast event.
