The courage and determination Jane McGrath showed in her battle with breast cancer was an inspiration for all, Premier Anna Bligh said this afternoon.
“Like thousands and thousands of Australians I did not know Jane personally, but her fight against this insidious disease touched me and won my admiration,” said Ms Bligh.
“My thoughts and prayers - and I’m sure of all Queenslanders - are with Glenn and their children James and Holly.
“Jane’s fight offered so much hope and the loss of this young mum’s life is sad, but her legacy is that so many will continue to benefit from her works through the McGrath Foundation,” said Ms Bligh.
