CORRECTION TO WATER ALLOCATION FIGURES

A press release from our office on February 26, “Record Dam Levels Provide Big Boost to Bundaberg Water Allocations”, contained incorrect information about water allocations.

The third paragraph, about the new allocations, was correct. The fourth paragraph, about the old allocations, was not.

This is the correct information about allocations:

Allocations for both the Kolan and Burnett subschemes are now 81% for medium priority water allocations, up from 47% in the Kolan and 24% for the Burnett.

Medium priority water allocations purchased from Burnett Water Pty Ltd are now 100% for both the Kolan and the Burnett (again up from 47% in the Kolan and 24% for the Burnett).

For high priority water, allocations have increased from 85% to 100% in both subschemes.

The correct information is from SunWater; the error was all mine.
