Smart secrets for successful business on the Gold Coast

Local business people are invited to attend a workshop being run by the Department of Tourism, Regional Development and Industry’s Gold Coast Centre this month to improve their business success.

Regional Development and Industry Minister Desley Boyle and Member for Albert Margaret Keech said the Managing Customer Service workshop would equip business operators with the tools necessary to increase sales and improve client relations.

“I encourage Gold Coast businesses to consider attending to see how they can do better in business,” Ms Boyle said.

Mrs Keech said good customer relations were vital to the success of a business, which was why the Managing Customer Service workshop had been developed.

“Managing Customer Service is a workshop designed to help business operators increase sales using exceptional customer service,” Mrs Keech said.

“Participants will gain an awareness of the tools they can use to enhance their business and understand why customer service is a major key to business success.”

The workshop costs $33.00 to attend.

Managing Customer Service will be held on 29 February (8.30-11.30am) at the Gold Coast Institute of TAFE, Gold Coast Marine Precinct, Shipper Dr, Coomera.
