The Minister for Police, Corrective Services and Sport Judy Spence, will present the Queensland Academy of Sport Peter Lacey Award to the athlete of the year at the Queensland Academy of Sport Champion’s Luncheon today.
Ms Spence will be joined by QAS sporting champions including Libby Lenton, Melanie Schlanger, Duncan Free, Courtney Atkinson and Angela Lambert.
The luncheon will include a panel discussion with world championship medalists Sam Simpson, Sandra Lewis (Nee Allen) and Bronte Barratt.
