LABRADOR HERITAGE WALK LAUNCHED GIVING A GLIMPSE OF THE PAST
Three walking trails designed in consultation with the community will be officially opened on Sunday to celebrate Labrador’s vibrant history and encourage a healthy lifestyle.
Member for Broadwater, Peta-Kaye Croft, will officially open the Labrador Heritage Walk on behalf of Minister for Public Works, Housing and Information and Communication Technology Robert Schwarten.
Guests can enjoy the Labrador Heritage Walk and its informative markers, created to preserve the local cultural and Indigenous heritage while promoting physical activity through the 10,000 steps program delivered by Queensland Health.
The Labrador Heritage Walk is one of the latest initiatives from the Queensland Government Community Renewal program, and has been delivered in partnership with Queensland Health and Gold Coast City Council.
