Indooroopilly food manufacturer Suzanne Quintner Fine Foods will add some Moroccan magic to this year’s Good Food and Wine Show being held in Brisbane from November 9-11.

Regional Development and Industry Minister Desley Boyle said the company would be one of eight food exhibitors represented at the Queensland Government stand at the Show.

“Suzanne Quintner has spent seven years introducing Queenslanders to the culinary delights of north African cuisine through her range of dips, sauces, condiments and aioli,” Ms Boyle said.

“I hear the company’s Moroccan roast capsicum dip is pleasantly addictive.”

Suzanne Quintner said she would be out to promote two new products at the Show and promised to have plenty of samples to go around.

“I’ll be officially launching my new Moroccan-spiced tuna dip and a preserved lemon and saffron dressing, with a touch of honey – it’s ‘golden and gorgeous’,” she said.

Ms Quintner said she was looking forward to being a part of the Queensland Government-hosted stand and showcasing her products alongside other local producers.

“It’s such a good way for small local people to participate in the Show and the Government endorsement helps to give our products credibility,” she said.

“It’s just terrific to be a part of a team of local producers who respect each other and are really positive about what other people do.”

Ms Quintner is a regular food personality on ABC 612’s Drive Time with Kelly Higgins Devine each Wednesday afternoon.

Ms Boyle said the Good Food and Wine Show was one of Australia’s largest consumer exhibitions for the food industry, attracting more than 300 food, beverage, kitchen appliance and cookware exhibitors.

“We’re expecting more than 14,000 food and wine lovers to pass through the doors of the Convention Centre over the weekend,” Ms Boyle said.

“Food and beverage manufacturing is big business in Queensland – worth more than $15 billion a year in revenue.

“Although Queensland has traditionally produced mainly meat products and sugar, our value-added foods are rapidly gaining a worldwide reputation for quality.

“The Good Food and Wine Show is an important forum for companies to launch new products, educate and meet customers, build brand recognition and loyalty, and increase their long-term sales and market share.”
