Queensland Rail directors reappointed

Four directors have been reappointed to the QR board.
Transport Minister John Mickel announced today Warren McLachlan, John West, Robert Holloway and Susan Rix would begin new terms on the board of QR Ltd from next Monday (1 October).
Also on the QR board are Chair John Prescott, Deputy Chair Cr Paul Bell and Directors Lisa Hunt, Peter Holmes a Court and Dawson Petie.
"We have a strong board with a diverse range of skills in relevant areas," Mr Mickel said.
"QR Limited has a steep task ahead to meet the demands of the economic boom and the state's rapidly growing population.
"I'm confident this group of talented people will ensure QR Limited meets the many challenges Queensland faces during this time of growth."
