Traveston Crossing Dam acquisition approaches $250M: Bligh

Recent good rain fall has heightened interest in development of the proposed Traveston Crossing Dam.
Deputy Premier, Treasurer and Minister for Infrastructure Anna Bligh today confirmed settled sales for the Dam have now topped $243 million.
“As at August 31 we have settled 279 properties with a further 86 pending settlement. This will take us to 365 properties,” said Ms Bligh.
“That means we now have agreements or settlement on more than 61% of the properties needed for the $1.7 billion dam,” she said.
