MEDIA ALERT – Loganlea Child Safety Service Centre opening

On Tuesday, August 14 Child Safety Minister Desley Boyle and Member for Waterford Evan Moorhead will officially open the Loganlea Child Safety Service Centre. The centre is the frontline for staff who work with children who have been neglected or abused or are at risk of being harmed. The Loganlea centre covers the suburbs of Rochedale South, Priestdale, Springwood, Daisy Hill, Shailer Park, Cornubia, Carbrook, Loganholme, Tanah Merah, Meadowbrook, Loganlea and Waterford West.
Following the opening, the Minister will have lunch with local foster and kinship carers at Logan Diggers.
With Woodridge MP Desley Scott, the Minister will launch a new training DVD for Child Safety staff, which was filmed at the Logan and Brisbane West office at Woodridge.
