MINISTER TO WELCOME NEW ADDITIONS TO DRUG DETECTION UNIT

The Minister for Police and Corrective Services, Judy Spence, together with Commissioner Bob Atkinson, will tomorrow welcome the latest canine additions to the Queensland Police Service Drug Detection Unit.

The dogs have recently returned from training at the Australian Customs Service Detector Dog Training Centre, to commence work in the field.

Five dogs and their handlers will be in attendance at the press conference. Media will also be invited to tour the dog training and housing area.
