MEDIA ALERT- CAREERS AND EMPLOYMENT EXPO OPENS

Minister for State Development, Employment and Industrial Relations John Mickel will open the 5^th annual Brisbane Careers and Employment Expo tomorrow.

This year there are more than 180 exhibitors, including government, employers, and education and training providers ready to talk to parents, graduates, skilled workers and people seeking a career change.

There are very few opportunities like this Expo where employers and prospective employees get a chance to talk together informally.

More than 35,000 people are expected to attend the Careers and Employment Expo over the three days.
