New research on smoking by Queensland school students

How many Queensland school students smoke? Do girls smoke more than boys? And how many have never tried a cigarette?

These questions are answered in new research being released today by Health Minister Stephen Robertson on smoking amongst Queensland school students aged 12-17.

Mr Robertson and the Queensland Cancer Fund’s Dr Suzanne Steginga will hold a media conference at 12 noon today to release the results.

Wednesday 28 March is National Youth Tobacco Free Day.
