MEDIA ALERT - HOUSING MINISTER OPENS 500TH BRISBANE HOUSING COMPANY UNIT

Housing Minister Robert Schwarten will officially open the Brisbane Housing Company’s 500^th unit of affordable accommodation at a ceremony at Kelvin Grove tomorrow.

Mr Schwarten said the company’s newest development of 56 units in Musk Avenue, Kelvin Grove, further increased the supply of accommodation for low income earners in Brisbane’s inner city.

The Brisbane Housing Company was established in 2002 through a partnership between the Department of Housing and the Brisbane City Council.
