NEW LOOK FOR ARAMAC, MUTTABURRA POLICE STATIONS

Public Works Minister Robert Schwarten today announced funding of more than $33,000 for maintenance works at the Aramac and Muttaburra police stations.

Mr Schwarten said both stations would receive internal and external repaints while minor maintenance works, including the replacement of a water tank, would also be undertaken at the Muttaburra Station.

“The dedicated officers and staff at the Aramac and Muttaburra police stations do a great job protecting and serving their respective towns and surrounding areas,” Mr Schwarten said.

“This funding will ensure these maintenance jobs can be completed, giving the officers and staff an even better base from which to work and fresh-looking police stations that the entire community can be proud of.

“QBuild, the State Government’s construction and maintenance organisation, will manage the work, which will be undertaken in the near future.”

Mr Schwarten said the funding demonstrated the State Government’s commitment to properly maintaining public assets like schools and police stations for the benefit of local communities.
