Minister for Environment and Multiculturalism
The Honourable Lindy Nelson-Carr
Environment Minister Lindy Nelson-Carr urged Queenslanders to put their best foot forward tomorrow and join the Walk Against Warming.
Ms Nelson-Carr said the walk was the perfect opportunity for everyone to think about the impacts of global warming and what they could do to help.
“This is about us acting together in a small way to help solve the big picture.
“By each of us doing something as small as having shorter showers, walking to work now and then, or turning off the TV at the power point, we can make a massive amount of difference,” Ms Nelson-Carr said.
