Tourism Minister Margaret Keech will get a bird’s eye view of Gold Coast attractions this afternoon as a camera that has revolutionised aerial cinematography is swung into action for a new Queensland tourism marketing campaign.

Mrs Keech will be aboard a helicopter equipped with SpaceCam technology to capture spectacular aerial images of the Gold Coast that will be used in the Beattie Government’s new $6.5 million Where Else But Queensland domestic marketing campaign.

Mrs Keech, world renowned cinematographer and photographer Mark Toia and SpaceCam operators Ralph Mendoza and Jose De Leon will be at Sea World this afternoon.

Media should be at the Sea World helipad at 3.15pm for shots of the equipment, Mrs Keech and the campaign shoot team. The helicopter takes off for the shoot at around 3.30pm and will return at around 4.15pm. Mrs Keech and the team will be available for interview at that time.
