LNP's Permanent 50 Cent Fares Locked-in Law

The Crisafulli Government has today introduced legislation to enshrine the LNP’s Permanent 50 Cent Fares in law and prevent any future Labor Government from unwinding them.

This step was taken after the Department of Transport and Main Roads discovered Labor’s private members bill was quietly attempting to remove the LNP’s Permanent 50 Cent Fares from train services, light rail services, CityCat and Ferry services.

Why is Labor trying to remove the LNP’s Permanent 50 Cent Fares from all public transport except buses?

Is this incompetence or a sneaky plan to pay for the announcements he will make in his Budget reply today?
