Quotes attributable to Member for Springwood Mick de Brenni:

“Fixing Beenleigh Redland Bay Rd is great news, especially for residents of Mount Cotton and Sheldon, because it is the precursor required before a significant upgrade of Mount Cotton Road itself.

“This project will build on the work we’ve done to enhance safety on Mount Cotton Road and surrounding projects, like the significant M1 upgrades.

“These upgrades will deliver safe cycling and pedestrian infrastructure for the local community to enjoy which, alongside provisions for new bus stops, will help further address congestion.”

“This road is a key connection for locals, and I know how much they want to see improvements to this stretch of road.

”Roads like these ones connect our communities, families, homes and workplaces, so it’s crucial they are safe and user friendly and I won’t stop advocating for that.”
