Homes for Queenslanders: 43 social homes for Brisbane’s east

• Miles Government awards contracts for 43 new social homes in Wellington Point and Alexandra Hills
• 20 homes are jointly-funded with the Albanese Government through its Social Housing Accelerator
• Part of Miles Government’s Homes for Queenslanders plan, to deliver one million more homes including 53,500 more social homes

The Miles Government will deliver more Homes for Queenslanders in Brisbane’s eastern suburbs with contracts awarded for two new complexes.

Together, both projects will see 43 new homes built with 17 one-bedroom and six two-bedroom units at Wellington Point, and 20 one-bedroom units in Alexandra Hills.

The 20 one-bedroom units in Alexandra Hills is jointly-funded with the Albanese Government through its Social Housing Accelerator.

All these homes form part of the Miles Government’s Homes for Queenslanders plan, including 53,500 more social homes.
