Premier welcomes ConocoPhillips donation to Debbie recovery

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has welcomed ConocoPhillips’ donation of $100,000 to help cyclone and flood-affected residents and communities.
The Premier said ConocoPhillips has provided its donation to the Red Cross.
“My Government made a $1 million contribution to four charities, including Red Cross, that are working on the ground to support Queenslanders severely impacted by Debbie and flooding that followed,” Ms Palaszczuk said.
The Premier encouraged anyone wanting to help their fellow Queenslanders to make a donation directly with a respected charity:

“These charities are trained to respond to the needs of communities hit by natural disasters and can provide food, equipment, shelter, and other support,” she said.
