Premier welcomes Tabcorp support for TC Debbie relief

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has welcomed Tabcorp’s announcement of $237,500 for relief efforts for Queenslanders affected by ex-Tropical Cyclone Debbie and severe flooding.

Tabcorp advise they are committing:

• $200,000 to the Australian Red Cross Society
• $12,500 to Happy Hooves
• $12,500 to Queensland Hoteliers’ Association fund
• $12,500 to Racing Queensland fund

The Premier encouraged anyone wanting to help their fellow Queenslanders to make a donation directly with a respected charity:

“These charities are trained to respond to the needs of communities hit by natural disasters and can provide food, equipment, shelter, and other support,” she said.
