Mr Rick Williams

Today I instructed the State Secretary to disendorse Rick Williams and re-open nominations for the State seat of Pumicestone.

The people of Pumicestone made a decision in 2015 to elect Mr Williams as their Labor representative.

As Premier, I am not satisfied that Mr Williams is the appropriate candidate to represent Labor at the next election which is why I have taken this decision.

I have made it a personal priority to make sure the people of Pumicestone have a strong, local Labor candidate to support at the next election.
