Queensland Rail Inquiry

I met with Commissioner Phillip Strachan to discuss his Inquiry into Queensland Rail this afternoon.

Commissioner Strachan advised me that key documents provided by QR to date had been "heavily redacted".

However, he advised that he had a positive meeting with QR this morning following the announcement of increased powers to undertake the Inquiry.

I have assured Commissioner Strachan of my Government's full cooperation, including the provision of Cabinet documents.
