Cairns cabinetmakers recognised for industry excellence

Cairns-based cabinet making company Artizan Cabinets has been recognised for excellence in the field, being named Residential Trade Contractor of the Year at this year’s Master Builders Housing and Construction Awards.

Minister for Housing and Public Works Mick de Brenni congratulated the company on its achievement.

“The exceptional workmanship of Artizan Cabinets and the team’s pride in its work has enabled the company to establish a reputation as one of the best in the business,” Mr de Brenni said.

“It’s great to see local manufacturers like Artizan Cabinets recognised publicly and I wish the team in Cairns all the best for the future.”

Mr de Brenni said the Master Builders Housing and Construction Awards showcased excellence right across Queensland’s housing and construction industry.

“These awards provide an opportunity to highlight the very best across the building and construction industry from individuals just starting their careers and local family businesses to long-established national companies,” he said.

“It is clear from this year’s award winners that Queensland’s building and construction industry is in safe hands.”
