    Premier bringing Cabinet to Bundaberg

Bundaberg residents will have a chance to speak with Queensland Government Ministers after Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced a two-day Community Cabinet will be held in Bundaberg on Sunday 18 and Monday 19 October 2015.

“We know the Wide Bay region is important to the state’s economy, especially around agriculture and tourism as a southern gateway for Great Barrier Reef tourism,” Ms Palaszczuk said.

“Supporting business and industry is key to job creation.

“Bringing Cabinet to Bundaberg is another show of support for the Wide Bay region.

“This is a great chance for locals to sit down face-to-face with top decision makers about any of the wider issues being faced by the region.

“I look forward to speaking to the people of Bundaberg about what’s important to them.”

Member for Bundaberg Leanne Donaldson welcomed the announcement.

“I’d encourage as many people as possible to take advantage of this opportunity,” Ms Donaldson said.

“I’m frequently advocating on behalf of our community but this is your chance to talk to ministers about issues that matter to you.”

The Bundaberg Community Cabinet will be held on Sunday 18 October 2015 at the Bundaberg Civic Centre, 190 Bourbong Street, Bundaberg.

A public forum will be held from 1pm with formal deputations to taking place from 2.15pm to 4.30pm.
