Family and friends will soon be able to farewell Noelene and Yvana Bischoff, who died while holidaying in Bali.

Acting Attorney-General and Minister for Justice David Crisafulli said their bodies had been released to their family yesterday following the completion of autopsies.

“The autopsies were conducted as quickly as possible and now Noelene and Yvana’s family and friends will be able to say goodbye,” Mr Crisafulli said.

“It will still be some time before we know the results from the tests but it was important they be returned to their loved ones swiftly.

“The Coroner will continue his investigation and the government will continue to do all that it can to help the Bischoffs’ family during this sad time.”

The funeral will be held on Monday.
