The Honourable Tim Nicholls

Hundreds of people have inspected the 12 Mary Valley properties to go under the hammer at The Event auction in Gympie next Saturday 31 August.

Acting Minister for State Development, Infrastructure and Planning Tim Nicholls said 253 groups had visited the 12 mostly rural and rural residential properties ranging in size from 2ha to 123ha, while more than 7000 had viewed the Mary Valley website in the last month.

“The three local agents, Bambling Rural, Landmark Harcourts (Gympie) and The Professionals (Gympie), who will each auction four properties, have reported that interest is high from around the country,” Mr Nicholls said.

“Judging by this enthusiasm, and the fact that all 16 properties taken to the two previous auctions have sold, we should see some vigorous bidding at The Event next Saturday.”

The Event auction will be held on Saturday 31 August from 10:30am at the Gympie RSL, Mary Street, Gympie.
