Attorney-General and Minister for Justice
The Honourable Jarrod Bleijie

Attorney-General Jarrod Bleijie has announced Auscript will provide Queensland’s court transcribing and recording services following a rigorous tender process.

Mr Bleijie said the Queensland-based company would provide services for the State’s courts, the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal and the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission.

“Auscript has 90 years’ experience in court recording and transcript services, and services Federal and State courts as well as the Family Court,” Mr Bleijie said.

“A number of other states have outsourced their services and I am confident this is the right move for Queensland, particularly with a locally-owned company.

“The outsourcing of transcription services is expected to save the State up to $6 million annually.”
